Band Bucks

Earn money doing the things you love to do anyway.

All band students will have the opportunity to earn band bucks at school. Band bucks will be spent at each school four times this year. You may save your band bucks or spend them. It is up to you! Remember to store your band bucks in a safe place such as your folder, desk or instrument case. Once band bucks are given to you, they are your responsibility just like real money. Watch out for the band buck thieves!

You may only come to the band room to spend your band bucks during your regularly scheduled lesson, recess or after school. You will not be dismissed from your classroom at any other time to spend band bucks.

Ways to earn band bucks:

1. Helping set-up the band room before early band

2. Helping clean-up the band room after early band

3. Recording your practice minutes in your practice log each week

4. Answering questions and participating during band rehearsals

5. Having an exceptional lesson

6. Other options such as helping to file music, doing special projects, speaking at concerts, helping set-up chairs for concerts, etc. (to be determined by your band director)
