Recommended Supplies:

  1. Smart Music Subscription, you may be interested in purchasing a subscription to this computer service.  We will be using it at school and your child may find it makes practicing fun at home!  Check back for more information on purchasing a subscription soon!!
  2. Music stands are highly recommended for home practice to develop proper posture on all instruments.

  • Cleaning rod
  • Small soft cloth

CLARINET

ALL CLARINET PLAYERS MUST HAVE 2-3 GOOD REEDS AT ALL TIMES!!

  • Cork grease
  • Clarinet swab
  • #2 1/2 reeds (Rico, Vandoren, Mitchell Lurie, Rico Royal)

SAXOPHONE

ALL SAXOPHONE PLAYERS MUST HAVE 2-3 GOOD REEDS AT ALL TIMES!!

  • #2 1/2 reeds (Rico, Vandoren, Mitchell Lurie, Rico Royal)
  • Cork grease
  • Neck strap
  • Sax swab

TRUMPET

  • Valve oil
  • Slide grease

TROMBONE

  • Slide grease or "slide o mix"

BARITONE/TUBA

  • Valve oil
  • Slide grease

PERCUSSION

ALL PERCUSSION STUDENTS MUST HAVE A SNARE DRUM AND A MALLET INSTRUMENT.  THE SCHOOL DOES NOT PROVIDE INSTRUMENTS FOR YOUR CHILD TO PRACTICE ON AT HOME.

  • Mallet kit and mallets
