Summer Band Lessons: Summer band lessons will once again be offered this June.  Summer is a great time to get caught up, go further in your lesson book, keep up your skills or just play for fun.  All students who have completed grades 5-12 are eligible to participate.  If you are interested in summer band lessons please return the lesson registration to your band teacher by Friday, May 9!! 2008 Summer Band Lesson Registration
Used Instrument List   We are currently accepting names of people who have used instruments that they would like to sell.  Please send the following information by email to John Gosnell at john.gosnell@ankenyschools.org. We will need: the type of instrument, brand name of instrument, condition, price you would like to receive, and your name and a phone number where you can be reached.  We will then add your name to an electronic database that will be published in August of 2008.
Winter Weather: If the school day is delayed any amount of time or cancelled due to winter weather, we will not have early band.  Lessons will be as normally scheduled for the remainder of a shortened day.  If school is cancelled we will skip that letter day and assume the next letter day on the following day of school.
